Dennis Hackin


Dennis received the Los Angeles Ovation Award for the Book of an original musical Bronco Billy at the Skylight Theatre.  He is a novelist, screenwriter, playwright and producer. He is also the founder of the Invisible Theatre in Tucson, Arizona and a Vietnam Veteran. He wrote the original screenplay of Bronco Billy as a homage to his parents who wanted to be cowboys and moved their city slicker family from Chicago to Arizona to live out their dreams on a ranch. His horse was named Sundown. He co-produced the film version of Bronco Billy with Neal Dobrofsky starring Clint Eastwood for Warner Bros in 1980.
