John Torres is an award winning songwriter, recording artist and vocalist who has been making music for over 25 years. His work on Bronco Billy – The Musical won him a Los Angeles Ovation Award for music and lyrics. In addition he is a John Lennon Songwriting Award winner and has been nominated for an American Independent Music Award. Torres originated the lead role of ‘Drew’ in the first ever workshop production of Rock of Ages, and co-starred in the original cast of the now cult musical hit Bare: A Pop Opera (as Peter). His music has been featured on T.V. shows and networks such as MTV, ABC, NBC, TLC, as well as multiple short and feature length films. John proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Bresee, a non-profit organisation in the heart of Los Angeles, dedicated to fighting poverty by empowering youth and families with the skills, resources and relationships necessary to thrive.
